Here I found this and all my notes in an old text book on windows programming by Dr. Julio Sanchez a professor of mine in college at Minnesota State University, of Mankato Minnesota.

Code:
[color=#008000]// HelloWorld.cpp : Defines the entry point for the application.
//[/color]

#include "stdafx.h"
#include "HelloWorld.h"

#define MAX_LOADSTRING 100

// Global Variables:
HINSTANCE hInst;                                // current instance
TCHAR szTitle[MAX_LOADSTRING];                    // The title bar text
TCHAR szWindowClass[MAX_LOADSTRING];            // the main window class name

// Forward declarations of functions included in this code module:
ATOM                MyRegisterClass(HINSTANCE hInstance);
BOOL                InitInstance(HINSTANCE, int);
LRESULT CALLBACK    WndProc(HWND, UINT, WPARAM, LPARAM);
INT_PTR CALLBACK    About(HWND, UINT, WPARAM, LPARAM);

int APIENTRY _tWinMain(HINSTANCE hInstance,
                     HINSTANCE hPrevInstance,
                     LPTSTR    lpCmdLine,
                     int       nCmdShow)
{
    UNREFERENCED_PARAMETER(hPrevInstance);
    UNREFERENCED_PARAMETER(lpCmdLine);

     // TODO: Place code here.

    LoadString(hInstance, IDS_APP_TITLE, szTitle, MAX_LOADSTRING);

More to come later, I'm going to take my time building up this post.
Still having issues with color showing up in the code window. Going to try and get it fixed. At least I got a good C++ to HTML converter, see blog post.

Cheers
Seth
